Interpromet, in cooperation with third parties, expects from these third parties and their partners working for Interpromet to adhere to the minimum standards of integrity and business conduct, which are outlined in the principles below:
Prevention and suppression of corruption.
Interpromet consistently and regularly assesses corruption risks and takes appropriate measures. Corruption prevention involves the implementation of organized measures and activities aimed at eliminating or reducing the direct or indirect causes of corrupt behavior.
Employees are prohibited from both giving and accepting bribes. Any form of bribe, commission, or other inappropriate payment is prohibited, as well as the acceptance or giving of material or immaterial benefits.
All employees, third parties, customers, suppliers, and business partners are prohibited from:
a) approving, offering, or promising payments, gifts, invitations, or other benefits with the expectation or hope of obtaining an unlawful advantage, or providing compensation to any party for having already provided or agreed to provide such an advantage.
b) accepting payments, gifts, invitations, or other benefits when there is certainty or suspicion that they are offered in expectation of unlawful advantages for the other party.
c) offering or accepting payments, gifts, invitations, or other benefits through a third party (intermediary) in a manner prohibited under (a) and (b).
Corruption is also prohibited in the form of the abuse of power possessed in a professional context for personal gain or the benefit of a third party, such as an employer.
This includes approving, offering, promising, accepting, or requesting benefits as incentives for actions that influence individuals in order to achieve or maintain economic advantage. A benefit in this case refers to any action that improves the material or immaterial condition of the recipient, to which they have no legal right.
Both giving and receiving bribes are strictly prohibited:
a) offering, promising, or granting a financial or other material or non-material advantage.
Both offering and accepting bribes are prohibited: a. Offering, promising, or approving financial or other material or immaterial advantages, b. Demanding or accepting money or other material or immaterial benefits as a reward or inducing illegal actions based on a specific professional position.
Before taking action in business situations, potential conflicts of interest should be identified and resolved. Interpromet is committed to free, fair, and unobstructed competition. Unfair market competition, or unfair competition, is the action of a merchant that is contrary to good business practices and causes or could cause harm to another merchant, another company, or a consumer, and is prohibited.
